Ron Stanko ’72 CLAS

In reflecting upon his 50th Reunion, when Ron Stanko ‘72 first attended Villanova in 1968, he did not realize how significant of an impact the University would have on his life. When it came time to choose a college, his parents told him, “Everything will work out for the best.” They knew Villanova was the right school for their son, but which proved even more true when Ron’s three children followed in his footsteps at the University. He’s proud of the commitment to Augustinian traditions and dedication to Veritas, Unitas, Caritas demonstrated by the Villanova community and University President the Rev. Peter M. Donohue, OSA. Ron wanted to give others the chance to live the Villanova experience and knew he needed to continue to “pay it forward.” That is why Ron decided to establish an estate gift, which will ultimately create an endowed fund in support of Villanova Athletics.
